I just picked up my cross 5-16-08 and started following Jesus.  I been reaching out for help... I don't have no family or anyone that I can called on for help... but I am now just realizing how much that God cares and loves me... I really need spiritual help... I am on 24 hour a day lockdown... I like to ask you to pray for me...”

His Story
Burning Bush & CEF
Thousands of city kids will be receiving one of these new HiSStory booklets created collaboratively by CEF Durham and Burning Bush Creations. The 7MIT and song, with its biblical teachings, are interspersed throughout the booklet. This completed project will allow kids and their families to effectively connect to the story of Jesus. Parents and teachers are encouraged to request copies for use with kids they know and teach.

Christian Community Development Event
A group of CEF Durham staff and supporters will join our friend  Dr. John M. Perkins at his annual CCDA conference in Miami this month.  An exhibit booth has been reserved for CEF to promote its mission and for networking with other urban ministries across the USA. The CEF booth will be next to Burning Bush Creation to launch a new CEF Edition of the HiSStory booklet.
